Mr Louw grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. He completed a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of South Africa. He taught at a primary school in Cape Town for four years before moving abroad. He moved to Hong Kong in 2021 and has since earned a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Bath in the U.K. He has been at Christian School since 2023 and is currently the Upper Key Stage Coordinator, as well as the Year 6 Coordinator. 

In his free time, Mr Louw enjoys hiking, rugby, tennis and camping. He is an avid reader and enjoys mainly non-fiction books. Mr Louw believes that education is about encouraging students to develop a variety of skills in order to become well-rounded members of their community and society as a whole.
