Principal BA & BEd (LangEd) & MEd (EAM) Ms. Jessica Vivian Choi brings a rich blend of visionary leadership, academic excellence, and a passion for whole-child flourishing. Raised in Hong Kong, Ms. Choi attended Diocesan Girls’ Junior School and Diocesan Girls’ School (DGS), where her foundational years instilled a deep commitment to high academic standards, Christian character, and purposeful service. Ms. Choi’s dedication to holistic education is reflected in her dual expertise in academic innovation and student well-being. She completed her double degree in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (LangEd-English) at the University of Hong Kong, later earning a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Management with Distinction from HKU as well. Her career spanning over 15 years includes leading the local DSE curriculum as Head of Academics, serving as Head of English, and guiding whole-school care as Head of Student Wellbeing and Assistant Principal. As a mentor for HKU MEd candidates, an advisor in Positive Education, and a researcher in educational law, Ms. Choi integrates research-backed strategies with compassionate, practical leadership. Her multi-faceted expertise spans curriculum design across international and local frameworks, project-based human-centric AI pedagogy, Positive Education, and mental health first aid. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua, with a background in graphic design, brand strategy, and media creation, she brings dynamic energy, creativity, and strategic communication to her school community. At the heart of Ms. Choi’s leadership is her vibrant faith and a passionate belief in nurturing the Mind, Body, and Spirit of every child. She leads with warmth, joy, and a heart dedicated to partnering with parents and teachers.
